The luxury- guest accommodation is situated in a sympathetically and tastefully-restored  detached barn in the grounds of our own home so we are on site, available to help with anything you need.
The accommodation provides flexible use: -
We are happy to offer a choice of :-

  • bed and breakfast
  • self-catering  (2 or 3 nights, short breaks  or weekly )
  • freshly-prepared dinners, served on request
  • packed lunches

Most importantly, we are keen for you to really enjoy your stay with us so are always happy to try to meet your requests.

The whole barn comprises:-

  • One ground floor room ( Willow Room ) with sitting area and ensuite bathroom
  • On the first floor there is a self-contained apartment of hallway, cloakroom, living area ( kitchen, dining and sitting areas) and two bedrooms ( Clee View ) and ( Orchard Side ) both with ensuite shower rooms. There is also a double bed settee in the living area.
  • First floor outside balcony with seating and
  • Grassed dining area with barbecue.

All our guests are greeted with tea and cake on arrival and we pride ourselves on providing little extra details to make your stay memorable: fresh milk, fresh fruit ( often from our own garden) home-made biscuits, scones and other treats.

There is onsite parking for 6 guest cars.

The barn has WiFi access. 

We are happy to provide secure storage for cycles, fishing tackle and to provide drying facilities for clothes.

  Open-plan living area
You enter the first floor via a spacious hallway, which has a separate cloakroom leading from it. The two upstairs bedrooms (Clee View and Orchard Side)  also lead off the hallway.

The main living space is available to Bed and Breakfast guests, too. Although there a wealth of pubs and restaurants in the area, if you would like to make your own meal, you are welcome to use the well-appointed kitchen facilities.

The main open-plan living area (  20’ x 17’) is on the first floor, up a few steps from the hallway. It has superb views, facing west, over agricultural land and across to Clee Hill and the Shropshire Hills. It comprises a very well-appointed kitchen, with electric cooker, microwave, fridge/ freezing compartment and dishwasher. There are a good number of cupboards to store food and all excellent -quality crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided.
There is a dining table and 6 chairs but more can be provided if required. The comfortable sitting area has leather settees (one makes into a double-sized sofa bed) and a wood burning stove (logs provided). There is a wall-mounted flatscreen TV/DVD and plenty of books, games and maps.

Outside there is both a balcony at first - floor level with  seating  for guests to enjoy the rural views and also a grassed area with garden furniture where barbecues and dining can take place.

Fuel and power are included in the charges.

We also welcome well-behaved dogs.

A cot and high chair are available.

We are open throughout the year.
